Andrew Thomas has been practicing law for over thirty years and focuses on project finance with a particular emphasis on the power, pipeline, infrastructure, healthcare and transportation sectors. He has extensive experience advising developers, financial and developmental finance institutions, corporate boards and governments in relation to high value infrastructure projects.
Prior to joining Asafo & Co., Andrew was a partner at a number of prominent UK and US law firms, where he held various management or global practice head roles. In addition to London, he has also lived and worked in China and South America. He has worked in over 40 different jurisdictions and over the past 10 years, his work has primarily focused on Africa. He has vast experience across the continent, particularly in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Zambia and Uganda.
