Effective 01 June 2026, Asafo & Co. has entered into a tie-up with Castletown Law (CTL), a team of energy and infrastructure specialists based in London and Edinburgh. Going forward, CTL will operate under the name Asafo & Co. CTL.
The tie-up adds additional UK law capability and sector-specific experience across a range of energy disciplines, including oil and gas, nuclear, offshore wind, onshore renewables, battery storage, thermal power, and hydro. The team also brings experience in construction and engineering matters, with particular depth in nuclear energy.
The incoming team brings experience advising governments, state utilities, investors and energy developers on next-generation energy infrastructure projects, further enhancing Asafo & Co.’s existing energy practice.
The Asafo & Co. CTL team is led by Andrew Renton, a former engineer and seasoned nuclear energy and infrastructure lawyer, and is based at 8 Hill Street, London W1J 5NG, United Kingdom.
