CNPS, alongside the General Pension Fund for Civil Servants (CGRAE), has concluded a strategic partnership with the Groupe Duval for the construction and development of Village Notre Père, in Le Plateau — a mixed-use urban complex including offices, retail, and hospitality, cofinanced by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and PROPARCO — and Riviera Park, a 26,000 m² leisure and commercial centre, having received support from the National Investment Bank (BNI).
These projects align with CNPS’s long-term mandate to responsibly grow public pension capital through diversified, impactful investments in Côte d’Ivoire’s infrastructure and economic development. Moreover, the real estate developments are expected to elevate Abidjan’s global profile by delivering premium office and hospitality offerings designed for the international business community.
The Asafo & Co. cross-office team advising on the transactions was led by Partner Jamal Fofana and Of Counsel Benoît Diouf who were assisted by Senior associate Max N’Goran, associates Emmanuel Tiecoura and Philippe-Olivier Lauriano do Rego.
